PREP’s owners were inspired by a forgotten era, where women were always immaculately groomed and getting their hair “set” was an everyday affair. Believers in the growing trend for specialised grooming services, the three friends decided to leave their F&B / Lifestyle / Investment Banking jobs to take the plunge into PREP.
Their dream of making PREP an integral part of every woman’s grooming routine first started with simplifying what was notoriously an ambiguous and non-standard offering of wash and blowdry services at hair salons, which would vary in price depending on a host of factors such as hair length, chosen equipment and type of shampoo. At PREP, there is one price, $45 across 6 distinct styles which are clearly described in a pictorial menu, with no hidden costs.
